Questions for Greg Wyatt Photography

What is your style?

I would say my style is a journalistic style approach to your wedding day. Of course, I will capture the usual family style portraits, as well as portraits of the two of you.  However, the majority of the time I will blend in ensuring that I capture the precious moments and details of your big day.

How long have you been photographing weddings?

I have had the honor and privilege of photographing over 250 weddings and have been in the industry for 15 years. To ensure that I provide you with the best photographs and experience, I do not book weddings on consecutive days to ensure that you will have all of my focus and energy for your big day.

Can we meet before the wedding?

We can absolutely meet before the wedding to discuss the details of your wedding day and I can answer any questions that you may have.  Most of my couples do an engagement session before their wedding , which is helpful because we will get to know each other better and also give you experience with body language and being in front of the camera.  This experience will assist you with being more comfortable on your wedding day, which will translate into the best images possible.  Also, if I am provided the opportunity to photograph your wedding, we will spend time together creating a "shot list" to ensure that we capture all of the important details, as well as special photographs of family/friends so you can enjoy your day knowing everything is taken care of.

How long after the wedding will I receive my images?

It will take no more than 3 weeks for you to be able to review your images on your digital online gallery that will contain beautiful high resolution photos. You will also receive a flash drive containing your images accompanied with a print release so you can use your images for personal use as you wish.

Are there additional travel fees?

There are no additional travel fees in the state of Colorado, but travel fees could be applicable in other states or outside of the country.

Which areas do you mostly photograph weddings?

Vail, Aspen, Breckenridge, Crested Butte, Telluride, Winter Park, Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Steamboat.  I also often frequent the U.S. Virgin Islands (St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John).

Do you work alone?

No, I typically have a second photographer to capture your special day.  However, during our meeting, we can discuss these details further.

Do you edit my images?

Yes, I do edit your images and I am the only one that will do so.  The reason that I call attention to this is because I believe that the photographers who contract out editing images to someone else is doing a disservice to you.  If the person editing your images was not at your wedding, he/she is unable to bring the image to life because they failed to be a part of the energy and experience.  Your final images will have the energy and the feel that each image should have that captures your special day.  My images are edited for a timeless feel and not a fad or press where every image is going to look the same because in my mind, every image is a different story.
